1st RECORDING OF: Rock Around The Clock - Sonny Dae & His Knights (1953-54)

The story goes that this was written for Bill Haley, but he was unable to wax his own iconic version (listen here: ) until some time after this first recording of the song by Dae (real name Paschal Vennitti).
