A Year of Paper Quilling Flowers

Hello, friends! I hope you’re all doing well and enjoying the winter holidays. As we approach the end of the year, I find myself looking back at the various projects that have kept me busy these past months. From creating new designs to revisiting and giving a makeover to some older ones, I’ve taken each opportunity to grow and learn something new. My year was filled with color. I cut more paper strips than I can recall and with my trusty quilling tool I’ve rolled countless strips, shaping them into petals, fruits, and berries. There’s been a fair share of finger-aching fringing and I’ve experimented with different techniques to craft unique flowers. Lots of leaves were cut and shaped, different paint mediums used to add a new dimension to my artwork - all while never losing sight of the importance of the little details.
