This Is How We Preserve Hundreds Of Eggs For Long Term Storage

Our aim is to grow and raise as much of our own food as possible, towards achieving this we raise our own chickens for eggs. Just like our produce though, egg production is seasonal, with our ladies slowing down and sometimes coming to a complete stop in the winter. To make sure we have enough eggs for our cooking and baking needs in the winter, we dehydrate hundreds of eggs and make powder. This dehydrated egg powder is obtained by following a simple process that needs basic equipment such as a blender , a coffee grinder, and a dehydator (or an oven). In this video we show the whole process we use and make some scrambled eggs and peanut butter cookies to show how they look and taste when the powder is reconstituted. Thank you to Chick Cozy for sponsoring this video and providing us with an automatic chicken coop door.
