Sudan: Russian frigate enters Port Sudan for first time

The sailors will replenish necessary supplies and rest after they participated in the AMAN-2021 multinational naval exercise in the Arabian Sea, which took place between February 12 to 14. In November, Russian President Vladimir Putin approved a deal to establish a Russian naval facility in Sudan, which will be capable of holding nuclear-powered surface vessels.
