Purpose Built : RUNGE FF007 Gullwing Coupe

Here is a quick trailer video for the latest Runge Cars build, FF007. This is Chris Runge’s vision of what the ultimate late 40’s sports coupe would be. FF007 is a fixed Gullwing Coupe with a 4 cylinder aircooled 1799CC Vintage Okrasa Tuned engine situated midship. The car utilizes 4 wheel Disc brakes in 5x205 bolt pattern with custom lightening drilled smoothies from RUNGE. It has 4 way adjustable rear suspension and 2 way height adjustable front with Bilstein Sport Shocks at all four corners. The car has a 4 speed VW transaxle with flipped ring and pinion for mid engine application. The gear shifter and linkage is designed and built in house and gives a short throw, smooth shifting experience. The body is entirely designed and hand built by Chris Runge. There are no computer aided technologies used in this build, it is done by hand and by eye. The interior features olive green leather seating and dash with vintage Fender Guitar Amp Tweed Headliner and door treatment. In the forward storage compartment is a 10 Gallon aluminum fuel tank built in house and storage area for tool roll and more. The rear shell hinges open to expose trunk storage. In under 15 minutes the rear shell and inner panels can be completely removed for engine service from both the top and under side.
