The crew of the Baltic Fleet coastal missile system fired missiles at a sea target
As part of a planned exercise, military personnel of the coastal missile division of the Baltic Fleet conducted successful live firing from the Bal coastal missile system at a sea target located in the Baltic Sea. The shooting took place from a starting position on the coast of the Kaliningrad region.
During the exercise, the missilemen marched from a permanent deployment point to a designated area, deployed the complex and worked out an algorithm for detecting sea targets. The ship’s target shield was used as the enemy ship. After receiving a signal to use missile weapons, the crew of the Bal missile launcher fired at a sea target located at a considerable distance.
Objective control means recorded an accurate hit. According to the conditions of the combat exercise, the target was destroyed. The missile firing was carried out in order to improve the practical skills of the crews of the coastal missil...
