The Rise of Dr Scourge

This is a story about a cat who becomes evil. My favorite part? Everything after about 2:28. The text is a bit fast... I was struggling to fit it all and still match the song. Based on the graphic novel “Warriors: The Rise of Scourge“ by Erin Hunter, Dan Jolley, and Bettina Kurkoski. The words in the video are a quote from the novel. The song is “Everything You Ever“ from Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog (hence “Dr“ Scourge). All of the drawing is mine. It took me around 400 hours spread out over an entire year to make this with Flash and Photoshop. If you’re confused, the animation starts with Scourge growing up as a house cat. It then jumps to the present and later returns to Scourge’s past with a buildup to the present again. Every so often there are flashes of “what could have been“ that show Scourge’s life had history played out differently. No, Scourge never had kits. ----HONORS---- #24
