Aphrodite was the Goddess of love in Greek Mythology who was one of the 12 Olympians. Being the goddess of love and beauty she was the Most Beautiful Goddess of Greek Mythology and thus was desired by many gods. She was the daughter of Zeus and Dione or perhaps she was born from the genitals of Uranos when it fell into the ocean. She was married to the god of forge and fire, Hephaestus who was ironically the ugliest god of all. But she found a keen attraction to the god of war Ares. This was one of the most iconic affairs of Greek mythology. She had key roles in some of the most famous stories of Greek mythology including the Trojan war.
