How To Make Your Aphex Twin inspired Melodies In Ableton

Hey, before you shoot me down, I am not going to pretend I am Aphex Twin or know exactly how he is writing his melodies. This tutorial is quite basic melody writing, and how to write some nice uplifting melodies that feels a bit Aphex Twin like. You do not have to have in depth knowledge of music theory, I will use the Minor Pentatonic Scale in D#, in other words the black keys only. This is a scale that was popular with many of the old skool Warp records artsits. This is the tutorial I would have wanted to see a good few years ago, when I was really struggling with stringing something interesting together.
