Jesse Cook | That’s Right

Jesse Cook | That’s Right (Vertigo) I stumbled upon “That’s Right“ back in 1997, when I was experimenting with music, trying to find a groove that lived somewhere between rumba flamenco, bhangra music, and a Bo Didley beat. I’m not sure if I ever found what I was looking for. But once I got writing this song, it didn’t seem to matter. Similar to this version, I played all the instruments on the old original recording too. Except the amazing accordion was Buckwheat Zydeco of course. He was fantastic, but that’s another story... Special thanks to my friend, and cameraman, Corey Winfield, who helped me out on this video. It felt so liberating to head outside and do one of these outside the four walls of my home.
