Behind the Scenes: The Premiere of Penny & Red

Lexington’s Fasig-Tipton sale grounds was the site of the world premiere of “Penny & Red: The Life of Secretariat’s Owner“ on Sept. 20. The documentary, focusing on the life of Penny Chenery, was filmed by her son John Tweedy. The documentary goes behind the scenes of Chenery’s public life and adds a bit of a backstory to one of the most famous women in sports.
