Johnny Depp: A History of Violence

1. In 1989 Depp was arrested and held for three hours after police answered a noisy party complaint at a hotel, a Vancouver police spokesman said. Depp assaulted a security guard during a scuffle, police said. Telephones in the lobby were also damaged in the incident. The fight broke out after security asked a group of people to leave the hotel, police said. Depp was released on a promise to appear in court. Charges against Deep were dropped after he promised a judge to be a good boy. (This works only if you are white or rich or preferably both.) 2. Then, in 1994, Depp was arrested again on charges of criminal mischief when he destroyed a hotel room because he was having a fight with his girlfriend at the time, 20 year old Kate Moss. He had to pay almost $10,000 in damages, but again he got off. Depp claimed that Kate Moss was asleep when he did the $10k damage to room, while some reports say they were both arguing with each other. Kate Moss hasn’t commented, neither has she supported
