Welcome to English Lesson... FANBOYS! In this lesson we will be using the Abbreviation known as the FANBOYS to punctuate our sentences. Using this abbreviation which stands for: For, And, Nor, But, Or, Yet, So; to show how compound sentences should be punctuated. And also using the punctuation marks Colon and Semicolon as well. Here the viewers will learn how two independent clauses can be joined together to make up a full sentence known as compound sentences. Similar to compound interest when doing Mathematics, where numbers are added on monthly to create a total amount; so words or clauses are added on to create a full understanding of a sentence.
