I have been playing classical tabla for many years with many artists and alongside, i have also gained proficiency in other rhythm instruments such as mridanga and ethnic percussions native to my hometown. I first started learning tabla under the tutelage of Pandit Satya Narayan Chaudhary (direct lineage from Ustaad Ahmedjaan Thirakawa Khan Saheb), Pandit Homnath Upadhyaya and Pandit Prem Chandra Ojhaiya.
