Kin-Dza-Dza (Кин-дза-дза) is the only movie that I like better than Blade Runner when it comes to cyberpunk. It’s main theme is the ludacris dystopian society interactions, as seen through the eyes of unlikely outsiders. With humor so keen I can’t believe it was possible to pull this off in heavily censored Soviet Russia ;) Music by Giya Kancheli. Scripted and directed by Georgi Daneliya. 1986, USSR.
