Nepal is in ruins! Strong tremors from Kathmandu to New Delhi!

More than 150 people were killed and hundreds injured after an earthquake struck Nepal on Friday evening. The epicenter of the magnitude 5.6 earthquake was at a depth of 18 kilometers. Hundreds of adobe houses in the area collapsed, and buildings shook hundreds of kilometers from the epicenter. Strong tremors were felt in the capital of Nepal and in cities in neighboring India, including New Delhi. People ran out into the street as some buildings were evacuated. Three more tremors were felt within an hour of the quake, and many people spent the night outdoors fearing further quakes. In Jajarkot district, which is close to the epicenter, 92 people were killed. In the neighboring Rukum district, where numerous houses collapsed, at least 36 people were killed. The authorities have not yet reached Ramidanda, where the epicenter is located. Troops are clearing roads and mountain paths blocked by landslides caused by the earthquake.
