Full title reads: “Southport. The Ryder Cup ours again! but only by narrowest of margins, then only by the very last putt of the day, holed by Syd Easterbrook.“ Southport, Lancashire (Merseyside). Walter Hagen of the American team and Arthur Lacey are called up to take their tee shots. Hagen sets up for his tee shot, he nearly hits an elderly man walking behind his back swing. (sound track runs out). Hagen drives. Lacey drives. Unidentified player drives. Good shot of large gallery crowds watching play around the course. Various shots of golfers putting.
