Last Moments of the Shiva Statue in Rishikesh

The floods of June 2013 wrought terrible devastation, yet also brought a powerful image of Shiva’s bliss beyond the events of this world, even as the statue of Lord Shiva appears to surrender to Mother Ganga. These images are a reminder of how we should aspire to live in this world, during blessings and in times of affliction.
