Loadout to CRUSH Airsofters in an Urban Assault

Today I’ll be going over the loadout I took to MilSim West: Caspian Strike. This event was held at Guardian Center, a primarily urban focused AO, which calls for a different loadout than what would be typical for a more patrolling based event. Due to urban fighting being usually hyper violent, and with the danger of CQB, running body armor is generally preferred. Just as it would be if you were to actually conduct combat operations in an urban environment. In order to increase the realism of your kit choices at MilSim West, if you wear both actual rifle plates and a ballistic helmet, you’ll get access to two MSW tourniquets. These are fake tourniquets provided by MSW, which your buddy can use on you if you are shot. Its essentially an extra life. Though this isn’t completely realistic, it does provide an incentive for wearing body armor in situations where it would tactically make sense in real life. I do believe that MilSim West is one of the best events out there for you to actually get out in the field and test your kit, and with armor being the general theme for this AO, I just wanted to share what I took out there to help better my chances of survival.
