Interstate ’76 (PC) - Part 1 (Full Playthrough) - HD 1080p

This is my first time playing the highly regarded classic Interstate ’76. All cutscenes upscaled to HD resolution! Tutorial and Mission 1 to 3. Technical details: This game was insanely difficult to get to run properly. Even though it is available at GoG, they did not do fix any bugs on their version. After spending some time with it I got the software mode to work with Win7 x64, but D3D and Glide instantly crashed upon launch. In addition to that, the game supports only up to 30fps. Anything more introduces gamebreaking bugs like screwed up physics and AI (’wobbly wheels’ bug). Any 10 year old computer will easily play this at 100fps so you have to artificially limit the fps somehow. Enabling VSync did not work for me either. After lots of trial and error (including running it on a retro PC with a 3dfx Voodoo 3 card) I ended up using a Windows XP virtual machine (VMWare) in combination with nGlide, limiting the fps with MSI Afterburner.
