The Aftermath of the Black Mesa Incident: Definitive Edition

On the morning of Tuesday, December the 5th, 2000, one of the world’s most secretive and well-funded research facilities was the scene of the world’s first ever catastrophic resonance cascade, a quantum event that, upon its initiation, would unleash a series of unstoppable events that would lead to the inevitable deaths of millions. The quantum event that was unleashed at the Black Mesa Research Facility tore through the fabric of a dimensional rift that sent forth an unstoppable force of hostile and invasive creatures that turned one of the most reliable research institutions in the United States to a devastating war zone between the hostile and invasive creatures, the American government, and remaining Black Mesa personnel.
