Many people in the West have asked me — is Russia dangerous?! Is Moscow safe?! Well, I decided to go to one of the so called ‘worst neighborhoods in Moscow’ and find out! But I didn’t go alone, I took @expatamerican3234 on this scary journey with me! 😱 We took a long metro ride and ended up in Moscow’s district of Golyanovo. This place was definitely a no-go zone back in Russia’s 90s. And in 2014, this place was rated the third worst city in the WORLD! So what is it like today? Did we run into any gangs? Did we witness any crime?
