Full title reads: “Ottawa, Canada. ’A New Page of History’ H.M. the King. The Imperial Conference - with representatives of every Government of British Commonwealth in council - opened with impressive ceremony by Gov-General the Earl of Bessborough.“ Ottawa, Canada. Delegates stand as the Governor General, the Earl of Bessborough walks towards the speakers chair. The Governor General reads a message from King George V. M/S of the Governor as he reads the speech wishing good luck to all the delegates. Wide shot Chamber. Governor bows to delegates who bow back. He then leaves the chair.
