Ascot United chosen for ’First Kick’ in FA Cup We already knew that we have been drawn against Wembley at home for our first ever appearance in the FA Cup but now its taken on a whole new dimension! The FA has now informed us that Ascot United v Wembley FC has been selected to be the ’First Kick’ Match to start this season’s FA Cup with Budweiser. The match will now kick off a day earlier at on Friday 19th August at our Racecourse Ground and we are expecting a record crowd. If that wasn’t enough to celebrate Budweiser’s first game in the competition they will be bringing the actual FA Cup trophy to the ground for fans to have the chance to have their photograph with it.
