King Charles receives Scottish crown jewels - BBC News

Britain’s King Charles has been presented with the Scottish crown jewels as part of a ceremony to mark his coronation. Queen Camilla and the Prince and Princess of Wales joined the King in St Giles’ Cathedral for the ceremony in Edinburgh, Scotland - which celebrated the King’s Coronation. Thousands of people gathered in Scotland’s capital to watch the celebrations, including many taking part in a ‘People’s Procession’. There were also a number of protests and anti-monarchy rallies taking place across the city, with a small group of protesters arrested.
