Some fully-grown Alsatian dogs are seen in police training - one protects a little girl when a man with a stick approaches as if to harm her. The little girl has a ride on the back of a dog, led by dog trainer Constable Reilly. Another dog attacks a ’burglar’ man in a heavily padded suit. An Alsatian sniffs out a lost girl in the countryside and brings her home. A dog jumps hurdles with a doctor’s bag in his mouth. Two dogs in harness jump hurdles in tandem. A tiny pup is pulled along on a lead by an adult dog. A dog leads a pony by his reins. Another jumps over a dog, three children and onto the back of a horse, then comes back again.
