1st Air Cavalry Brigade “Air Cav“ arrival in the port of Vlissingen

A total of 39 Blackhawk, Chinook and Apanche helicopters from the 1st Air Cavalry Brigade, 1st Cavalry Division, are on their way to their next destination after arriving in Vlissingen from Texas. The helicopters from Fort Hood, Texas, will team up with troops as part of Atlantic Resolve, an ongoing mission to show the U.S. commitment to the NATO Alliance and regional stability. The unit will deploy into several European counties for the next nine months as the 8th rotation in support of Atlantic Resolve.
