Released on the anniversary of the Beatles recording of In My Life at Abbey Road Studios, on October 18, 1965.
This music video was commissioned by historian and historic preservationist, Tim Reid, as a tribute to the Deauville Hotel on Miami Beach. Its Grand Opening only 64 years ago, this is where the Fab Four stayed and played for an eight day week in Feb of 1964, very famously performing live on the Ed Sullivan Show to a USA TV audience of 70 Million.
Tragically, this irreplaceable cultural treasure and architectural landmark is facing imminent total destruction due to years of disregard by its current owners, who have been sued by the City of Miami Beach and Miami Design Preservation League for “demolition by neglect“.
