Paws v Jaws: Dog Jumps Into Water as Shark Swims Within Meters of Queensland Shore

A daring dog jumped into the water off the coast of Haggerstone Island, Queensland, chasing away a shark that was swimming ominously close to shore, footage posted on Instagram on November 5 shows. Jack Strickland of Back 2 Basics Adventures was filming the shark when Tilly the guard dog bounded into the water. Strickland told Storyful that the footage was captured on October 10 during his stay on the island in the Great Barrier Reef.
