Community Recovery after Tropical Cyclone Winston

On February 20th 2016, the strongest tropical cyclone to impact the South Pacific hit Fiji. With winds exceeding 200 km/h, an estimated 40 percent of Fiji’s population were affected by Tropical Cyclone Winston. Conservation International provided immediate assistance after the devastation to rebuild their homes and restore their sustainable livelihood projects in beekeeping, reforestation and agriculture.
