Firing up and running the 268 ’Bumblebee’ live steam locomotive, REMASTERED 60P

This is a freshly remastered version of the 268 bonus footage from my Flintridge & Portola Valley Railway documentary. (see for the main documentary) Tightened up a bit for length and remastered in 1080/60P from the original interlaced footage (60 fields per second) this new version allows you to see fast moving scenes more clearly. The video features the assembly and then firing up of the 7.5“ gauge 2.5“ scale locomotive, which was newly completed at the time by live steamer Bill Boller. Sadly, the F&PV railway no longer exists. One owner has passed away and the other moved out of state. The railroad was torn up but many parts and pieces survive at other railroads around California. Enjoy this piece of live steam history.
