The Walking Dead Survival Instinct | Full Game Walkthrough | No Commentary

It’s been a while since we archived a zombie game and thus we head to the universe of The Walking Dead. This game was released back in 2013 and had very mixed reviews. It follows the IP of the tv series The Walking Dead and even uses voice actors from that very show. We play as crossbow wielding Daryl and have to make our way across the American landscape while avoiding the zombie hordes. You move from level to level and can even have branching paths depending on your route. Along the way random events can happen like finding a place to scavenge or meeting another survivor. Survivors can then be recruited and sent out on scavenge missions to collect food or ammo. The game actually has some really cool ideas on paper, but it sometimes does fall a bit flat. Combat can be a bit repetitive and the presentation can be a bit lackluster with weak cutscenes and animations. The scavenging is actually very cool and I do wish they fleshed out the survivor system a bit more. The framerate can sometimes dip quit
