Sister Andrea demo - with Tommy Bolin

When Jimmy Page saw Tommy Bolin playing with Zephyr in May of 1969, he directly intervened to turn the band onto Eddie Kramer of Electric Lady Studio’s where he had just finished mixing Led Zeppelin 2 with Eddie - that resulted in Zephyr getting signed to Warner Brothers Records and then doing their second album with Eddie at Electric Lady Studios. Well in that same period of time Eddie was engineering the Energy album done by Jeremy Steig at Electric Lady Studio that resulted in a couple of demos being recorded the featured Tommy, Jeremy Steig, Jan Hammer, Gene Perla and Billy Cobham on drums. Billy had already also come across Tommy in the summer of 1969 when his band Dreams played on the same bill with Zephyr, at a festival. The demos were presented to people at Columbia Eecords and they passed on signing the specific lineup. But Billy obviously never forgot and had Tommy play on Spectrum.
