“Act of Courage“ - Episode 5. Part 2 (Part 1 is here) The fifth episode of the “Act of Courage“ project is about two men whose grandfathers were Heroes of the Great Patriotic War. The grandsons followed in the footsteps of their war veteran grandfathers and stood up for their country. The first video is about the soldier with the callsign “Stavr“, grandson of Andrei Titenko, Hero of the Soviet Union. “Stavr“ volunteered to go to the SMO zone and became an assault fighter. During one of the battles, he was wounded. He’s been awarded a “Military Valor” medal. The second episode is the story of the soldier with the callsign “Smerya“, grandson of the legendary Hero of the Soviet Union Leonid Smirnykh. In the SMO zone, “Smerya” became a driver-mechanic of an MT-LB (multipurpose transporter). His crew is engaged in evacuating the wounded and bringing ammunition to the front line.
