Creations (1929)

No title. Shot of a man looking at his wife’s dress bills. He looks outraged at the amount of money she has spent. Intertitle reads: “But, even Adam will admit this “Maison Lewis“ white duvetyn sports hat (and scarf) embroidered with kid grapes, is chic.“ The wife comes through the door and models her new accessories. A black panne and lace hat is also modelled, also a wide brimmed white hat whilst the woman arranges flowers in a vase. “Maison Redfern“ creations are modelled. An afternoon gown with georgette sleeves and black jet trims is presented to a friend. Then a grey flannel suit with a white satin waistcoat is modelled along with a green felt hat trimmed with feathers. C/U of handle of an umbrella with Japanese style carving. Finally a brocaded georgette evening gown trimmed with beads and gold lace is shown. The model has a large feather fan and is shown in an ornate boudoir setting.
