Johan Tronestam - Perpetuity

Johan Tronestam played earlier in various music groups, but has concentrated on writing instrumental synth music for a long time. The music is created in his own studio. His music is very personal. But has influences from Vangelis, JM Jarre, Tangerine Dream, Kraftwerk, Klaus Schulze and similar artists. Johan Tronestam is from Sweden. His father is a musician and therefore there were many music instruments in his parental home. His father wanted him to become a violin player, but Johan’s favorite instrument was the electric organ. When he heard “Oxygene“ from Jean Michel Jarre for the first time something happened inside him. Johan says : “New doors opened for me and I knew that I had to have synthesizers. But synthesizers were very expensive instruments. The price of my favorite synth Korg Trident was 28 000 Swedish Krones back in 1982.
