plaiting the garlic crop

Garlic keeps from harvest in midsummer right through the autumn, winter and next spring, provided you harvest, process and store it right. In this video Julia plaits up our best selected garlic on the 2nd of July to store until November when we will break up the bulbs into individual cloves and plant them for next year’s crop. The garlic for our consumption will be treated in the same way Hang the plaits in a cool well ventilated place
