“Nobody Should Go To Jail For Smoking Weed” Says Kamala Harris

During a recent speaking event Vice President Kamala Harris stated that “nobody should go to jail for smoking weed,” a reference to President Biden’s announcement last week that anyone convicted of a federal crime for possessing marijuana would receive a pardon. Putting aside the fact that there are currently zero federal inmates imprisoned on just marijuana possession charges, Harris herself has a checkered record of prosecuting individuals on marijuana charges, not to mention threatening to imprison parents of children who skip school and refusing parole to nonviolent offenders so that the state of California could continue using them for cheap labor.
