INSTRUCTIONS Two officers of the 20th Mountain Div. showed up to ask you a favour: all the mail is arriving by plane at Krymsk but it cannot reach the troops at the front line because the roads are unusable. So they are kindly asking you to carry it by plane to their airstrip. Of course you accept. (Historical note: something similar is narrated by in his book, but he used a Fieseler Storch and landed on a short strip prepared by ground troops in a icy lake) - After airborne find the airstrip as indicated in the map, stay below 300mt so when the ground troops will spot you they will light a red flare. - The airstrip is indicated by tires red flags. - it’s barely 600mt long, - after landing DO NOT shut down the engine (there’s no ground assistance). Stop at the airstrip edge and wait for the Kubelwagen. After the offloading the ground troops will clear you to T/O. - RTB to Krymsk.
