Modeling a Chess Set That Works in 2D and 3D

In this video we’ll explore an idea I’ve had for a while: A chess set that will work in 2D and 3D at the same time! We’ll use the boolean modifier to intersect two different chess designs, and merge the two designs using forced perspective.
