Periphery - New Groove Drum Cover & Solo by Troy Wright

Drum Transcript: Hit me up: Website: This is a fun, short but hectic instrumental track from Periphery. It features a classic prog style belting china beat throughout, which moves into some subtle stabs that are great to attack with on various cymbals. I grabbed the opening synth riff from the beginning of the song to loop at the end so I had an opportunity to solo over. Half way through this solo I also added the main guitar riff that I added a high pass filter to to help lift the intensity of this new section with a crescendo till the end.. Again, Periphery, Misha, Matt and all you other sexy Peripheries have delivered a nice little gem of a song for me to play to! \m/ I didn’t use triggers, sound replace or alter my original drums in any way other than mixing and pulling a good sound. Hope you all enjoy as much as I have! Feel free to contact me on facebook with any questions (links above) and start bashing along to my drum transcript I have written which is a free download from my site. Cheers, Troy Wright.
