The Dream Wave for Skimboarding

Who would have thought that Doheny Beach would have a good wave for skimboarding. @98lucasfink and Blair Conklin and many other capitalize on a fleeting sand bar that formed at the mouth of the Doheny River mouth. The bouldery conditions made for many stubbed toes and damaged boards but the risk was well worth the reward. Some riders were catching waves for distances close to a football field in length. Stay tuned for part two of skimboarding Doheny Beach. The sand point disappeared after a few days and became more of a bay. It was fun while it lasted and we are excited to share the few extra special sessions that we had. #watersports #travel #skimboarding
