“Священная война!“ 2015 Victory day Version (Rus sub, Eng sub, Ger sub)

The text was written in 1941 by Vasily Lebedev-Kumach after the German invasion of the Soviet Union and published in Izvestia on June 24, 1941 . The music was then composed by the author of the Soviet anthem , Alexander Alexandrov . The song was completed on June 26, 1941, a few days after the start of the war. It had its premiere in front of the Belorussian railway station in Moscow, where volunteers were sent to the first it was seldom aired, as it was about a heavy deadly fight rather than an easy victory soon to come. However, from the fall of 1941 it was broadcast every morning on Soviet radio . The annual Victory Day parade on Red Square in Moscow is also introduced with this song in today’s Russia.
