In the December 1984 issue of Orange Coast Magazine, the Theatre Calendar featured the following: “SHIRLEY MACLAINE - Celebration of the award-winning singer/dancer/actress/author, starring Shirley MacLaine with an ensemble of dancers and singers, continues its limited Los Angeles engagement at the Wilshire Theatre (8440 Wilshire Boulevard) through December 9, 1984. Original music for SHIRLEY MACLAINE composed by Marvin Hamlish with lyrics by Christopher Adler and additional material by Larry Grossman and Buz Kohan. The show’s musical director is Jack French and Alan Johnson staged and choreographed the production.
