UMK / UPPER MIDDLE KAWEAH 700CFS The UMK is still to me one of the best day runs out there, California or elsewhere. It has such a nice trail to hike to the top, then it’s nothing but sick kayaking all the way back to the car. As we were getting to the end of the Cali trip we were getting anxious to head in as it’s such an incredible section we didn’t want to miss. Although it was still holding on the high side, we decided to try pushing it a bit higher than we have before.
