FPV racing drones are manually operated, flown using first-person view camera technology and can travel in excess of 100 MPH. Aerial photography drones are flown by line of sight and typically hover in place. Often enough they are built with collision avoidance technology, and use sensors to auto-level and navigate using GPS-assisted flight. Drones have an incredibly versatile range of movement. By adjusting the thrust between the motors, the drone can tilt itself and move through the air in any direction. It can hover in place. It can move sideways.
