The year was 2016 and I was only 18 years old when I was discovering vaporwave. Shortly after, we released our first album under the label and from then on, many artists, most of then unknown, entrusted their work to my label. And as time went by I ended up meeting a lot more people and admiring each artist I knew even more. Part of this audience was from Latin America and many people outside Brazil could see other names emerging such as Andr0ider, Hippo 美徳, ECCO 深い夢, MISE, chikatetsu, Machina Pensant, Luanmer and many others that I now call my friends. The path I’ve walked here has been long, but I will never forget any artist and label that welcomed me all these years and I’m grateful to all of you for trusting me all these years. None of this would be possible without any of you. And for the VWTBR_100, I wanted to do something special before I leave: a compilation of different barber beat artists, with original and sampled tracks. Welcome to our 100th release.
