Amazon Alexa can’t understand the Scottish accent, and this Scottish person filmed the moment Alexa fails to comprehend what she’s saying. The woman attempts to get the home assistant to play 1979 hit “Something’s cooking in the kitchen“ by Dana. But her broad accent doesn’t pick up on the device, leaving her increasingly frustrated. “It’s no donna!“ she barks after Alexa fails to play the song. Several failed attempts cause her to change her tactic. Putting on a cockney accent, she tries again – and to her fury, Alexa obliges and plays the tune. “You just hate Scottish people, ya cow!“ she yells. The clip was filmed on May 20.
