I did it in a “wrong” way – with the Sustainer driver in bridge position and feedback humbucker (noiseless Fender SCN) in neck. My aim was to disengage Sustainer system from other pickups as much as possible. That’s why I’ve installed two Fender SCN noiseless pickups in neck. The second one works as an ordinary neck pickup. It makes much fatter sound reach with low frequencies when the Sustainer is switched on, because now it is picked up not in bridge, but in neck.
