Join Post reporters as President Biden delivers the 2024 State of the Union address to a joint session of Congress on March 7. The speech — his fourth time addressing a joint session — comes as Biden faces scrutiny for his handling of the Israel-Gaza war and immigration and concerns about his age ahead of the 2024 election. House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.), alongside Vice President Harris, will preside over the address. The parents of detained Wall Street Journal reporter Evan Gershkovich will be in attendance, as will Elizabeth Carr, the first person born by in vitro fertilization, or IVF, in 1981. Shortly after Biden’s address, Sen. Katie Boyd Britt (Ala.) will give the Republican response.
